The Clinton Chamber of Commerce has been invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony of Somebody Step In, Inc., held at the Clinton Chamber office at 100 E. Leake St., Clinton!  S.S.I. is an organization which will provide a safe haven for foster children, and any children who are currently in or have suffered crisis situations.

Founded by Carlotta Taylor-Franks, author of "No More Flinching," the mission statement of the Somebody Step In organization is "to provide a source of help through counseling, caring, and assistance with moving forward in life in a positive and healthy manner."
