Praise for NITA-LAAC Trainings

Loyola faculty and legal aid attorneys.
In collaboration with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy ( NITA ), LAAC coordinated a three-day trial advocacy training at UC Davis School of Law on March 28-30 just for legal aid lawyers, the third training since December. Building on the success of the two prior trainings at Loyola Law School and UC Hastings School of Law, the Davis training brought over 50 legal aid attorneys together for three days of intensive learning, instruction, and practice.

LAAC and NITA are excited to bring another training to the legal aid community this upcoming August. Please contact LAAC Program Attorney Lauren Lofton at  [email protected]  for more information.

LAAC's  Self-Care Corner

Spring cleaning time is here! This might not feel like a self-care action to everyone, but like Marie Kondo says, "The objective of cleaning is not just to clean, but to feel happiness living in that environment."  We hope you can make some time for yourself this month and declutter the house, spruce up the yard, or start that 30 day cleanse you've been putting off.
