Thank you to all who donated a Christmas Basket for your sponsored child! These gifts continue to be a huge blessing to the students and their families during their term break.

It's not too late to give a Christmas gift to your child! We will ensure he or she receives something they need upon returning to school in February when the students start their next school year.
End of Term 2018
The final school term has come to a close, and all students will return when the new term starts in February 2019.

Where do students stay during break?
During this long break, students spend time with family; some spend it with their extended relatives.

What do students do during break?
Students help around the house with gardening, and washing and the older students may look for work to help cater to their family needs. Some students take the time to get more involved with the church, learning musical instruments, attending seminars, and volunteering. Of course, there is still time for fun! Many students play sports and spend time at community sports fields.

How can I pray for the students during break?
Please pray that they would be lights in their homes, with their friends, and in their community. Pray that all the truths they've learned about their identity in Christ over the year would remain in the forefront of their hearts and minds.

Was it my students last year of high school?
If your student was one of the 28 students in S6 then the answer is YES! Graduating S6, is a significant accomplishment and the next step, which many will take, is a form of higher education....University, college or trade school. The S6 class must wait for their test results from their National Exams before applying to a higher level of education. We would ask that you keep your student in prayer, and we are counting on your continued sponsorship for a successful launch into their next level of education.
Over the years there have been countless acts of what we love to call, "Creative Giving." We have seen college students donate proceeds from their clothing line, authors give profits from their book sales, and teachers who get their students involved with Buyamba, empowering them to make a difference. At its core, Creative Giving is when YOU use the tools, resources, and spheres of influence you already have to come up with ways to give back and raise awareness of the need in Uganda.

Check out our newest Creative Giving idea...
Our friends and sponsors Ron and Christina Evans from Apex Leadership Co. are launching a Creative Giving effort of their own to fund part of the Buyamba dormitory project!
Tim traveled to Uganda this summer to work alongside the Bible Camp Team with Cross Timbers Church.

When he returned, he started sponsoring two students, and he got his own students involved with giving back by encouraging them to raise funds for Christmas Baskets. Tim shared the impact these children had on his life with those around him and the vision spread!
If you have a Creative Giving idea, we would love to come alongside you and provide what you might need.
Sponsor A Child Today
Michelle and her three sisters live with their mother in a village near the school. Sponsoring Michelle would greatly help her mother and would offer Michelle a bright future.
