Wednesday, November 25 at 6:45 pm
Grab a piece of pie, and join the community gathering for Thanksgiving Eve Worship. We give God thanks for you, sing praise for those around you, especially this year when many of us cannot gather together. We pray together and remember those who do not have a place to eat, but trust God’s promise to provide for those in need.

Two houses in the Avondale neighborhood have turned over, meaning two families moved up and two new families were given the opportunity to purchase these homes. As with those we build home for, the two new families need to finish their 250 sweat equity hours on the current build site at Harmony Cottages before they qualify to move in. Exciting to hear Habitat families are moving up!
Habitat Homemade is back! Last summer several individuals & small groups built projects to sell at the ReStore. Because fundraising has been difficult with Covid and the ReStore funds the building of the houses, Habitat has decided to start this again in 2021. There are two ways we can help.
First, we can organize, make, and build things ourselves then sell them on our own and donate the proceeds to the Thrivent Faith Build. Several churches had a lot of success with this last year.
Second, "The Shed" at the ReStore which will be a separate space at the ReStore for items built and made by skilled individuals in the areas of craftsman, woodworkers and sewing. There will be a calendar of items to make which will mainly be up-cycled items from the ReStore such as furniture, signs, etc. The materials to make these items will be provided by the ReStore then put in The Shed for sale to fundraise. Many of the items would be items you would find in a vintage store and very popular. If you are a skilled craftsman, woodworker or sew well and are interested in this project, please contact Steph Dugger at 970-223-9119.
If you would like to shop at the ReStore or The Shed to support Habitat, they are located at Taft Hill Rd and Harmony Rd (NW corner).

Family Housing Network's New Services
|
|
Family Housing Network, which sponsors the FFH overnight program, has some new services being developed.
From FHN:
Rapid Rehousing Program: Rapid Rehousing is a program that provides short term subsidies for families to move into permanent housing with support. The subsidies can last three to 12 months depending on the needs of the family. When FHN acquired One Community One Family on October 16, we were able to add their case manager, Alex Hawes. We have secured funding to support this program as well. Many of our families have moved into housing with financial support (and short term subsidies) from OCOF. They are a very small agency who had a big impact on the families we serve and will be a great addition to our agency's services. A newsletter will be sent to our supporters later this week with more details.
Other new services at FHN: We have acquired the suite next door to our new Day Center to collaborate with Homeward Alliance and provide space for our new case managers, a clothing closet and emergency food pantry for community partners to access in Suite 105. Community partners are given a key code to gain access and the inventory is refilled on a weekly basis by both partners. We have moved our linens for newly housed families into the space as well.

Mid-Day Prayer on Wednesdays from 12-1 pm
|
|
Since we are not able to gather for worship in person on Saturday and Sunday, we are inviting you to share a time of Mid-Day Prayer, in the sanctuary, from Noon to 1 pm on Wednesdays. This will be a time of personal prayer and contemplative reflection, and prayer resources will be available if needed. We will still be limited participation (10 people at a time) per our building policy. For the safety of others, you are required to wear a mask, and to sit distanced apart, unless you are with your own family unit.

When does weather cancel church?
Trinity does not have an official cancellation policy, but the rule of the thumb that leadership has agreed upon is that weekly church events will be canceled when Poudre School District delays or cancels events. On the weekends, worship will not be canceled. As always, use your best judgment in poor weather conditions, and know that you are still loved by God if you miss Bible Study, Choir, or Worship. We will post cancellations to our website, facebook page, and a mass email to all of you.
