The WCA Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an entirely volunteer, parent-led group focused on building a strong school community including parents, staff, teachers, administration and the school board while supporting school needs through various fundraising programs.

February PTO Meeting
Join us on February 6 at 6pm for our next PTO meeting! Help us plan our spring family event, BINGO, and continued teacher appreciation efforts. Then, spend time with our hard working administrative team, Dr. Borzych, Mrs. Merkling, and Mrs. Seniw, for a great opportunity to learn more about our school.
The Ask the Admin PTO Meeting is a great opportunity to learn more about the how and why of our school. Questions must be submitted by 2/5/2020 for consideration. There will be opportunity for follow up questions to be asked during the meeting. You can submit up to three questions on this form. Have more questions? Feel free to submit a second form.
The following norms will be used for our meeting and should help guide your question submissions:
Ask the Admin IS:
- A chance to learn more about how WCA works academically or operationally
- A chance to ask questions that impact the full student body or broad groups of students
- An opportunity to positively engage with and learn from the school's administration
As the Admin IS NOT:
- An opportunity to discuss your student or other students
- A chance to raise concerns about individual staff
- A chance for anonymous questions
Questions may be grouped together, slightly revised to support meeting facilitation.

Chick-Fil-A Spirit Day
Our next Spirit Day will be held on Thursday, February 20 at
BOTH Chick-Fil-A locations in Castle Rock. 10% of all sales, from 6am-10pm, will go to our WCA PTO.
You must mention WCA at point of purchase for the funds to be donated. Thanks for supporting our school!

Stock the Teachers' Lounge
Help our WCA staff know how valued they are this semester by keeping their tummies full! Each month we will be asking two grades to "stock the teachers' lounge" with non-perishable snacks. (Though we welcome donations each month from any grade, if you're eager to give!)
The next grades to participate will be 2nd and 7th grade. You can

and deliver them to school the week leading up to March 2.

Box Top Collection: Two Ways to Participate!
It's Box Top collection time. Get those Box Tops in to our great new mailbox and help us reach our school-wide goal of
$500
by 2/24. If we reach our goal we'll celebrate with Tops for Box Tops - a hat day right before spring break.
Look for our new Box Tops mailbox in the hallway near the front office and drop them there. The clipped Box Tops are still able to be turned in for $$$ for WCA.

BoxTops 4 Education has made submitting your boxtops super efficient and user friendly! Just look for the Box Tops logo on your favorite products and on your receipts from major retailers. Once you've purchased your items, simply scan your receipt on the app and BAM, money for WCA!

 Reserve Friday, March 6th for our 2nd annual Spring Bingo event. More details to come as we get closer, but this isn't one you'll want to miss. Fun for the whole family!

Mabel's Labels
Need an easier way to label your child's belongings to help get them back when they are lost?
The lost and found is filled with items not labeled or with labels that are hard to read or falling off. The PTO has started a fundraising page with Mabel's Labels! You can label anything, they are dishwasher/laundry/water safe and the Tag Mates are peel and stick - no ironing/drying needed. Mabel's Labels even offer medical stickers.

King Soopers - shopping and earning money for the school has never been easier. Log onto your account at Kingsoopers.com or on the app. Under the Community Rewards section, indicate that you want your donations to go to World Compass Academy. It's as simple as that. Nothing else you need to do other than shop!
