Summer will be here before you know it, so don’t wait until the last minute to plan your family vacation to Lakeside. This year, online registration is available for several events, and we’re offering early bird discounts for certain tickets and registrations. Please note that some fees will increase after June 1, so don't wait to register!
June 17-21
Chautauqua Hall & Bradley Temple
The Chautauqua Vocal Workshop is a five-day educational experience for singers of all ages and levels. The workshop includes a series of educational sessions and master classes where participants explore traditional and contemporary vocal genres, practices in developing vocal technique and receive individual coaching and training in solo singing.
June 21-23
Hoover Auditorium
This musical retreat is for choral singers of all ages and levels of experience, offering opportunities to participate in rehearsals and sessions focusing on choral singing, vocal technique, effective methods for working with vocalists. as well as sessions on enhancing your church or school choir program.

Join the Lakeside Wooden Boat Society (LWBS) for an evening of celebration, beach music and dinner provided by the new restaurant, Lago Coastal Café. Prepare your taste buds for a fusion of Hawaiian, Cuban, American, Asian and Mexican cuisine.

Early Bird Registration: $75/person, $150/couple

July 2-27
Hoover Auditorium
The Lakeside Art Show displays original artwork by local artists. All ages are invited to submit entries, especially children and teens. Register by Wednesday, June 26.

Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus
Back by popular demand, deck yourself out in glowing accessories and race from the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus to the Pavilion. Dance the night away following this fun after-dark race.

Registration: No fee to participate, but those who register and donate $25 or more before June 1 (early bird registration) are guaranteed an exclusive Get Up & Glow Fun Run T-shirt.

Dock
This event encourages young athletes (ages 9-16) to swim a half-mile, bike two miles and run one mile throughout Lakeside. Please note: there will not be an Individual/Team Triathlon this year.

Orchestra Hall
Walkers, joggers and runners of all ages will take to the streets of Lakeside for the annual 5k Raccoon Run and One-Mile Fun Run. Awards ceremony to immediately follow.

Before July 24: 5k: $30 / One-Mile Fun Run: $20
After July 24 & Day-of-Race: 5k: $35 / One-Mile Fun Run: $25

Catawba Island Club
This summer, Lakeside is experiencing an Arts Awakening . Join us for a celebration of the arts with Rhein Center artist demonstrations, cocktails, food and music. Limited tickets available.

Hoover Auditorium
The Photography Show features entries taken by local, amateur photographers. All ages are invited to participate, especially children and teens. Register by Wednesday, July 24.

Wesley Lodge
Lakeside welcomes Chris Holtmann, Ohio State University’s Head Basketball Coach, as keynote speaker of the breakfast. Holtmann will be joined by Susan Stewart, former Canadian Olympian basketball player, to share their faith journeys. Limited tickets available.

Wesley Lodge
During his visit to Lakeside, Chris Holtmann will also share reflections about his athletic journey as a basketball coach at a special luncheon. Limited tickets available.

Ticket holders will enjoy an evening home tour with candlelit paths to each residence featuring small symphonic ensembles of Lakeside Symphony Orchestra musicians. Limited tickets available.

Lakeside Chautauqua
Join Sigma Pro photographer David FitzSimmons for a three-day workshop exploring everything from landscapes and macro to wildflowers and wildlife. Registration includes six meals, two nights of lodging at the Fountain Inn and transportation.

Lakeside Chautauqua
The retreat welcomes those involved in church music ministry to worship and pray together, learn and share resources, and connect with the peace-filled beauty of Lakeside Chautauqua. We’re excited to welcome Zac Hicks as our keynote speaker.
Sept. 13-15
Fountain Inn Aigler Room & Chautauqua Hall
Anyone with a passion for sewing or knitting is invited to the open sew. Registration includes a two-night stay at the Fountain Inn, lunch, and a workspace with an 8' table with electric, cutting table and ironing station.
