AIR State Tests

All students at NRMS will participate in state testing during the coming weeks.  Teams will be  testing within the window listed above in the Important Dates section.  Teams will be communicating their specific days and plans.  I am confident that our students will do a great job as they always do on the upcoming assessments.  

As always, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher, school counselor, grade level principal or me with any questions throughout the year.

Important Notes:

PTA Talent/Variety Show
The PTA Talent/Variety Show will be held on the evening of Tuesday, May 16. Day performances for students in grades 5-6 will be on Wednesday, May 15 and for grades 7-8 on May 16. Tryouts will be held after school on Wednesday, April 24.  Students can pick up applications in the main office.

7th Grade Field Trip to Columbus
7th grade students have the opportunity to travel to Columbus on May 21 to visit the Ohio Statehouse and the Ohio Stadium, aka, the "Horseshoe."  They will also tour the Mansfield Reformatory either while traveling to or from Columbus.  There will be an informational parent meeting on April 24 at 7:30 PM in the Purple Gym.

Washington D.C. Extended Field Trip
The extended field trip to Washington D.C. is rapidly approaching.  There will be an informational parent meeting on April 24 at 6:30 PM in the Purple Gym to finalize all details pertaining to the field trip.

PTA
Please consider joining PTA and volunteering your time throughout the year.  The NRMS PTA is a vital component to many of the activities and opportunities that we provide to our students.  Our next meeting is on Tuesday, April 23 at 9:30 AM in the NR Public Library.
