We are starting a recycling program on campus!
This is an update from your FHS Green Team:
All of the new recycling bins have been ordered, but now we need student help to make sure it happens!!!! One of the biggest ways students can help is simply by organizing their trash correctly once we have the bins-- If there is more than 10% contamination, then the contents have to go to the landfill instead.
Another way to help is being a Bin Monitor. Bin monitors stand by the bins for the last 5-10 minutes of lunch to help people sort their trash and make sure there isn't any contamination. Fill out the form with the link  bit.ly/BinMonitorFHS  if you're interested! Bin monitors will get lots of benefits such as  community service hours, prizes like metal straws, water bottles, gift cards, snacks, and more!  The info session would be April 9th at lunch, and the flex period that same day would be the training. There will be pizza and snacks at the training. The link itself has more info so check it out!!! Informational meeting on APRIL 9.
TV30 Coach of the Year
Did you have a high school Coach this academic year that made a difference in your sports training and will also have a positive impact on the rest of your life? Now you have a chance to thank that person by nominating him or her for Tri-Valley Sports Final Outstanding High School Coach of the Year Award. Click here for details. Nomination deadline is April 7th.
Due to CAASP, ELA and CST testing, Foothill will have block schedules on Tuesdays (periods 1, 3, and 5) and Thursday (periods 2, 4, and 6) the weeks of April 8, April 22, and April 29. Please see attached letter to parents and guardians for testing details.

A Message from FAB President Derek Perez
We are asking for your help to fund Foothill’s needs this year. Foothill High School is in need of some much-needed support for the replacement of our widely-used sports field. As you likely know, the Stadium Field is in bad shape. Not only is it an eye sore, but its condition also creates safety hazards for our athletes, band members, students and guests.
Although referred to as the "Football Field", make no mistake about it, many other sports, students and clubs use this essential asset for their activities. Over 2,000 kids per year use the facility!
Your support will ensure future generations of Foothill students can use a field on which they are both safe on, and proud of!
Right now the cost of the field is approximately $950,000. Thanks to the efforts of the district, Foothill High School, the Foothill Band, FHS PTSA and the Athletic Boosters, we've managed to raise most of the funds! With that being said, we're still in desperate need of more to complete this project.
So please, click here to donate to help support this cause. Be a part of history. Keep our students safe, and our legacy strong!
