Coronavirus Social Services Statement
Assalamualaikum,
Based on recommendations set forth by public health officials and infectious disease specialists who have recommended social distancing to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, ICGC Social Services will be adopting the following protocol until at least Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

We will continue to operate from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday however, for the safety and protection of our staff, clients and community members, our team will be working remotely. This means offices will be physically closed and no in-person appointments will be scheduled or conducted until March 24th.

Please schedule appointments for all services by calling or emailing Jackie Othman jothman@icgc.us or Leanna Allouch lallouch@icgc.us

1. To ensure continuity of service for our food pantry clients we will be
transitioning from the choice pantry model to pre-packed controlled distribution services. This means that we will be open 1 day a week only for limited hours during which we will distribute food via a drive-through style system.

2. We will also continue with our employment, rent & utility assistance
and referral program via phone intakes and emails.

3. ESL and tutoring sessions have also been canceled. We are
exploring options for online classes esp. if remote work continues to be the only option post 3/24.

May Allah SWT make this difficult and challenging time, an opportunity to revitalize our faith and connection with the Almighty, ease our burden and protect us from all harm - Ameen.
COVID-19 Resources
Cincinnati COMPASS has created a COVID-19 resource page for easier access to information, most of which is available in multiple languages.
