Library cardholders have access to  many free online learning tools and services , like Rosetta Stone,  Headspace, Lynda.com and so much more.  Also library cardholders have access to free museum passes,  ESL Resources, Citizenship Resources and of course, books, DVDs, videos and many wonderful events and classes.Take advantage of the many offerings the Morgan Hill Library has today!

Don't be f ooled by this winter's rains, the wildflowers, and our lush green hillsides. This is a great time to take steps to reduce wildfire risks to your property.  Download the   Are You Ready Brochure  to  learn more.  Very often, the difference between saving your home in a wildfire and losing it to the flames is determined by what you do to prepare..

To assist the community in preventing and preparing for wildfires the City will be be offering a FREE Community Fire Prevention and Preparedness Seminar.  The same seminar will be offered on three different dates:  April 18, May 6, and May 18. Please see the body of the email for registration links.

Community members are encouraged to attend one of the seminars.  You'll hear from Morgan Hill Fire Marshall, Dwight Good and Emergency Services Coordinator, Jennifer Ponce.

CURRENT WATERING SCHEDULES

Watering Day Changes in Morgan Hill Effective April 1st!

Water is always a precious resource in Morgan Hill and with this in mind, our permanent watering restrictions have been designed to best manage the City's potable water supply. These restrictions will help us avoid or minimize the effects of drought, climate change and the unreliability of the imported water infrastructure that serves the City of Morgan Hill.

From April 1, 2019 through October 31, 2019, watering is limited to three days a week.

  • Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for odd numbered addresses
  • Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays for even numbered addresses
  • No watering on Wednesdays
  • Irrigation is allowed before 9 AM or after 7 PM
  • Watering is limited to no more than 15 minutes per station

Complete rules and restrictions can be found in  Water Waste Ordinance No. 2236. Customers can report water waste  online or by calling the Water Waste Hotline at 408-310-4195. For more information, visit  mhvalueswater.com, email  environ@morganhill.ca.gov or call 408-310-4169. Thank you for conserving water!
