CITY UPDATES

Trolley and Transit
In the interest of public  health  and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the City of Miami Beach is suspending all trolley service  effective today, March 26, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Miami-Dade Transit’s Metrobus system will continue to run FREE weekday routes across the County with reduced frequencies. For Miami-Dade County transit updates, please  click here.

NEW RESOURCES

Today, Department of Revenue Executive Director Jim Zingale issued two emergency orders: E mergency order  #20-52-DOR-001   to extend the final due date for property tax payments and E mergency order  #20-52-DOR-002   to extend certain filing deadlines for Florida businesses. This action is taken to provide short-term relief to taxpayers while recognizing the requirement for a balanced state budget.

For taxpayers who have additional questions, the Department of Revenue has established a dedicated team to address tax-related issues pertaining to COVID-19 and created an email address,   COVID19TAXHELP@floridarevenue.com . Small Business Tax Payers
The state's Department of Revenue has a special email address, COVID19TAXHELP@FloridaRevenue.com , to answer questions for small business taxpayers and encourage taxpayers to work with the department if they have financial difficulties with meeting taxpayer deadlines.
