It's time to donate to the Annual Campaign to support weekly programming, adult education offerings, Shabbat & holiday services, and more!

This campaign is a critical part of our annual operations budget. Your donations help to provide programming, events, and more for the Temple Emanu-El Community. Additionally, your donations will help provide for health & safety at Temple Emanu-El.

Sigd Celebration

The South Bay Jewish community in conjunction with Be’chol Lashon is pleased to invite you to learn about and celebrate the Ethiopian and Israeli holiday of SIGD! Celebrated seven weeks after Yom Kippur, Sigd has been an official Israeli holiday since 2008, during which 130,000 Ethiopians and other Israelis are welcomed to join together to celebrate the unique Ethiopian Jewish heritage.

Interfaith Thanksgiving

We invite you to join us online for a unique, and special, Thanksgiving Service and Experience with our friends at Stone Church of Willow Glen. Clergy from both Temple Emanu-El and Stone Church, in addition to choirs, will be providing words and singing for you to enjoy.

Mah Jongg Cards 2021
Calling all Mah Jongg Players!

Time to reorder cards for 2021! Get the call out to all your Mah Jongg friends! Please gather all information and monies, and remit to HARRIET SALTZMAN or to the Temple Office, earmarked for Sisterhood.

Remember that this is a Sisterhood fundraiser, and the more individual cards ordered, the more monies are rebated to Sisterhood. Please make out all checks to:
TEMPLE EMANU-EL SISTERHOOD .

Surprise, Surprise. The price of cards are up. $9.00 for the standard (small) card and $10.00 for the large print card.

The deadline for all information is January 30th, 2021. The final listing is due in the National Mah Jongg Office in New York by February 1, 2021.

Family Day of Code, Tinkering & Play, 7.0
Sunday, November 15

This year, the event is virtual, so please feel free to invite friends and family from near and far. There will be LIVE sessions and unplugged sessions per age group. Sessions include: coding, Roblox, robotics with Wonder Workshop, tinkering stations and an escape room. Register by November 3rd to receive information for material pick up (not required). This event is free and open to all.

Wisdom and Inspiration in Challenging Times

Embrace-A-Family
November 18 - December 18

Once again, Temple Emanu-El is partnering with Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley to fulfill the Chanukah and holiday wishes of families and seniors who would otherwise go without gifts. To maintain the safety of JFS staff, volunteers and clients during COVID 19, this year Temple Emanu-El is sponsoring an online virtual dreidel board.

Israeli Author Etgar Keret on Zoom

The Israeli writer and filmmaker discusses his newest collection of short stories, "Fly Away." Followed by a Q&A on Zoom. Moderated by Tricia Creason-Valencia of MACLA. Presented by the Addison-Penzak JCC. Tickets $20.
