Jefferson PTO needs YOU!

The Jefferson PTO is seeking individuals to serve on next school year's PTO Executive Board. 

The Jefferson PTO Executive Board is an elected group of PTO members that carry out the objectives of the school PTO with specific responsibilities, depending on the role. There are multiple positions open for next school year. Please send an email to the PTO email ( [email protected]) if you are a PTO member in good standing and are interested in and/or would like more information about serving on the PTO Executive Board for the 2019-2020 school year.

The Nominating Committee will then be in touch with further details of the process. Thank you in advance for considering serving our Jefferson community by volunteering your time and efforts on the PTO Executive Board!

The PTO By-laws have recently been reviewed and updated. We invite you to review the bylaws HERE.

A vote to amend the By-Laws will be taken at the next general PTO meeting, TBD.

Summit Farmers Market Bags
Green Summit NJ has partnered with Summit Downtown Inc. to offer the first Summit Farmers Market Bags for sale!  The Summit Farmers Market is targeting to be plastic-bag-free, and encouraging vendors to use only compostable or paper bags. Get ahead of the game with this sharp and sturdy reusable bag with Summit pride.
The bags are 1 for $3, or 2 for $5, and are sold at the Farmers Market, at Summit Downtown Inc. offices, and at all Green Summit events.  



Summit Free Market Is BACK!
The next Summit Free Market dates are Saturdays April 27 and May 4 from 8AM to 3PM at the Summit Transfer Station 
40 New Providence Ave. 
Bring yard sale quality reusable items to share and take whatever you want or need. It's all FREE!

Materials NEEDED

Mrs. Campagna needs your empty cardboard paper towel and toilet paper rolls! The materials will be repurposed and used in science. Please collect the ro lls (all year lo ng) and send in to school with your child.

Library Volunteer Sign Ups

If you are interested in helping out during the school year, please consider serving as a Library Volunteer. This is a great chance to see your child's class in action while they visit the library. Volunteers will help to shelve books, with book selection and check out.

(Please note, no siblings are allowed in the library while volunteering. Thank you!)
