Raising Voices Against Racism
Dear Fuse Community,

In light of the tragic and brutal killing of George Floyd and the events that have transpired over the last week, Fuse will be cancelling tonight’s Fridays with Fuse game night.  We at Fuse are taking this time to recommit ourselves to our mission: creating theatre that inspires others to take social action.

Fuse stands with our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) Artists and communities to protest systemic racism. We value raising voices historically silenced by oppression to move forward as an inclusive and tolerant society, yet we acknowledge that we don’t hold all the answers. We are taking this time to listen, empathize, and educate ourselves through the personal stories and experiences shared by our BIPOC community, as well as examine our own inherent biases to better serve and take positive actions in our community.

In the coming weeks Fuse will be taking steps to engage in creative opportunities with our artists and community to discuss and imagine ways to work towards a society that is equitable for all. Join us in the coming months as we raise our voices against hate, violence and racism and take action for change.
Sincerely,

Stacey Ardelean with the company members of Fuse
