From Our Principal
I want to take this opportunity to express gratitude for the members of our School Board who accomplish a lot, generally behind the scenes. The current membership includes: Mark Mikkelson (Chair), James Pickral (Vice-Chair), Alissa Thorell (Secretary), Paul Cooper (Development), Elizabeth Ferguson (Finance), Harold Kelly (Facilities), Nevada Wagner (PTO Rep), Will Thomas, Jack Proctor, Joe Treadwell, and Kevin Purnell. The School Board advises the pastor and principal on matters related to the school, and takes an active role in helping to design and accomplish our strategic plan. As several of our members complete the terms of their board service, I am thankful for their shared dedication to the success of our school. I am also very pleased to welcome new board members to our Board this Spring and welcome their energy and talents to serve our school. I look forward to introducing them to you next month, following their official approval by the Board at our next meeting.

Saint Gertrude High School
Meet Me at the Matinee: The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940
Saturday, April 6
12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Open to students, grades 6–8.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at our spring play “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.” Join us for a pre-show lunch where you’ll meet the talented cast and crew, and even pick up a few theatre tips and tricks. Then, stay for the afternoon performance.
"The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" is a play about a creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop that assemble for a backer's audition of their new show at the Westchester estate of a wealthy investor. The house is replete with sliding panels, secret passageways and a German maid who is apparently four different people - all of which figure diabolically in the comic mayhem that follows when the infamous slasher makes his reappearance and strikes again.
