If you know a friend, family member, or anyone looking for a high-quality, Christ-centered education for their children who do not already attend a Catholic school, you could receive a $250 credit toward your child's tuition at York Catholic.
York Catholic's Parent Referral Program is a win-win for everyone involved. Referred students receive an outstanding education from York Catholic, while parents of the referred families get peace of mind knowing their child is gaining so much more than just a top-notch education. Families who refer someone who registers at York Catholic receive a $250 credit towards their child's tuition.
You, as parents, are our best ambassadors. In order for the Parent Referral Program to be a success, we need information about individuals who may be interested in joining the York Catholic family. All you need to do is click

to fill out the form. If the family you refer attends York Catholic through their first semester, your family's tuition will be credited $250, spread into 4 credits applied to the months of February, March, April, and May.
It really is that simple. So go ahead. Please click on the link above and allow us the opportunity to do what we love -- help to develop, nurture and encourage children so they may grow in faith, mind, and heart. Mail or email the form to us and we will take it from there!
The Parent Referral Program is open to all parents of current York Catholic students. The tuition credit is not available for referring your own children. The $250 credit is only good toward tuition on a student's account; no cash is given, and it is non-transferrable. A referred student applies only to a new student from a non-partner school.

Tomorrow, Friday, April 5, is Spirit Shirt Friday. Students may pay $1 in homeroom and wear their favorite YC spirit shirt in place of their uniform shirt. Students still must wear the standard uniform shorts, pants, skirt, or skort. All money collected from this fundraiser goes toward the YC Technology Fund.

Don't miss a wonderful night of student music and creative performances. Senior High students are welcome to come out to the YC Coffee House on Friday, April 12, at 7 PM. The price of admission to the Coffee House is one non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Catholic Harvest Food Pantry.

| IOWA Exams Standardized Testing |
All seventh and eighth graders will be taking the IOWA standardized tests on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week, April 8, 9, and 10. Ninth graders will be taking the IOWA standardized tests on Monday and Tuesday next week, April 8 and 9. These tests assess student achievement in Reading, Written Expression, Vocabulary, Mathematics, Computation, Science, and Social Studies. We ask that students are well rested and that they eat a substantial breakfast before coming to school. Not only do IOWA test results highlight how our students perform nationally, IOWA test scores are an invaluable resource when evaluating student placement, and they provide data that is utilized to identify areas of weakness throughout our curriculum. The Junior class will be experiencing a unique retreat opportunity at Black Rock Retreat Center in Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, April 9. The theme is "Unity in One Body - One Body in Christ." Students will have a chance to open their hearts to Christ and work as a team in challenging a low ropes course which will help them gain trust with each other and unify as a group as they get closer to being the senior leaders of our student body. While enriching their relationship with Christ, students will have the opportunity to develop increased confidence and self-esteem, increased mutual support within the group, problem-solving and goal setting skills, decision-making abilities, leadership, trust in each other, and an appreciation and respect for differences in the group. This retreat is held rain or shine with some accommodations made for bad weather. Please dress accordingly and pray for a gorgeous sunny day for the Juniors!
