Trinity Kids Happenings
April 2019
A Note from Rachael
I love the song, "How Beautiful." Some of the lyrics say, "How beautiful the heart that bled, that took all my sin, and bore it instead. How beautiful the tender eyes that chose to forgive and never despise. How beautiful is the body of Christ." My prayer for us as families this month is that we will intentionally share with our children about the life Christ lived and died for us and how beautiful His love for us is. May we also be sensitive to opportunities the Lord gives us to share  with others , alongside our children, the hope we have in Christ. Maybe even invite them to church on Easter Sunday . . . (Read on for specifics re: Sunday School on Easter Sunday and our Family Easter Devotional.)
Vacation Bible School 2019 Registration Opens THIS SUNDAY!
Serve at VBS!
Vacation Bible School needs you! There are many ways to serve: decorating, donating food, crafts, snacks, recreation, guides, and more! Beginning this Sunday, adults and students (entering 7th-12th grade) may register to serve by visiting the "Children's Ministries" webpage at trinitycc.com!

Come to VBS!
Beginning this Sunday, register children going into kindergarten-6th grade by visiting the "Children's Ministries" page at trinitycc.com! An online payment of $25 per child or $50 max per family is due at time of registration (price increases to $30 per child or $60 max per family after Thursday, May 16). Parents serving at VBS may also register nursery-preschool kids online ($5 each, if T-shirt desired).
Kids' Worship: April 7
The first Sunday of the month during 2nd service Sunday School, our Trinity Kids gather in Room 116 for Kids' Worship to worship our Lord in song.

Please also remember to be praying for our missionaries this month:

Sunday School
First service  is continuing in the New Testament (NT) chronologically. Every week they also learn "Where is the Gospel" in connection with the lesson. Ask your kids what they learned about the Gospel (the good news!) in Sunday School.

Second service  is continuing in the Old Testament (OT) chronologically. Every week they also learn "Where is Jesus" in connection with the lesson. Ask your kids what they learned about Jesus in the OT in Sunday School.

Family Follow Up
Sword Bible Memory
Hide God's Word in your heart! Help your kids memorize their Sword Bible Memory each month.

Family Easter Devotional: Mission Accomplished
Mission Accomplished is a two-week devotional resource for families to focus on the purpose and implications of Jesus's atoning work. Copies are available Sunday mornings on the Plaza for $10. The devotions begin on Palm Sunday, April 14.
Wagon Train Summer Camp (July 7-13, 2019)
At Wagon Train, your 4th-6th grader (as of fall 2019) has the opportunity to grow in their relationship with the Lord and in relationship with other Trinity kids while having lots of fun and sleeping under the stars in a covered wagon each night! Only a few spots remain, so be sure to request a sign-up link from Kristin soon by emailing her at: [email protected].
BSK (Bible Study Kids)
BSK is a Bible Study where kids learn from the same book of the Bible their parents are studying in Brother-to-Brother (B2B) and Sister-to-Sister (S2S). BSK includes singing songs of worship, memorizing scripture, and having fun while doing it! We meet during S2S Thursday mornings, 9:00-11:00 (infants-preschool; homeschool) and Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:30 (preschool-4th grade). We hope your kids will join us in our study of Judges as we learn to follow God alone. Our final BSK meeting day of the semester is April 11.
Thrive
Thrive  is our midweek group for 5th and 6th graders that meets on Thursdays in Room 117 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (during Sister-to-Sister).  We will not be meeting on April 18 due to Spring break!  Contact Connor (905-0146) with any questions or email Kristin at  [email protected]  to be put on the THRIVE email list!
