Compound Expansion Update
Finishing Strong!
As of January 1, 2020, all of the major construction work to demolish and re-build our Administration Building inside the MKMI Compound has been completed and paid for. Ethel and I thank you for anything you’ve generously given to help us come to this point.  Now we are working on the finishing phase of construction, which includes things like outdoor signage, interior/exterior painting, window curtains fabricated and installed, new furniture purchased and older furniture refurbished. Our computer room must be made ready for staff and students with tables, chairs, shelves, printers and computers.
Our painters up on ladders, painting our 3rd floor ceiling in the new Administration Building.
Painting progress for one of our Administration Building offices.
This will be Ethel’s office when its finished.
Your support is enabling us to finish this building, and give us much needed room to work and grow in fulfillment of Mark 16:15-18.
I like to paint our offices with lively colors, which is part of the Filipino culture.
Here is our logo on the entrance lobby wall, fabricated and installed.
Support & Assistance to Filipino Ministers

At the present time, MKMI apostolically covers between 275 and 300 churches nationwide in the Philippines . We do our best to provide them with spiritual counsel and guidance, and by the leading of the Lord, assist with offerings designed to help our pastors do their ministry work.

Church construction assistance and vehicle acquisitions have played a major role in how MKMI helps pastors reach their regions and communities for Jesus. To that end, over the years MKMI has donated a number of vehicles to pastors in need. 4-wheel pick-up trucks, cars and motorcycles have been given.

When you support MKMI with your finances, you’re also helping us support a network of soul-winning churches with financial assistance.
Part of MKMI's outreach is to assist native Filipino pastors in their work spreading the gospel.  We bought new tires for this pastor’s motorcycle, so he could continue his outreach ministry in the mountainous areas on the island of Mindanao.
Here is our happy pastor, leaving our compound with all his traveling cargo, sitting on his motorcycle which now has new tires, given in love by MKMI.  Your support helps us help pastors like him preach the gospel in isolated, remote places.
Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.  Matthew 24:1-2

When I read verses like these, it always reminds me to keep my eyes squarely fixed on the eternal things of God, rather than upon the temporary things of this life. This is important because people have a natural tendency to focus all their attention on this life, simply because this is where we are, and this is where we live. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that there is another world that is actually the parent for this world, and that everything in that world is as unchanging and eternal as everything in this world is temporary and subject to change! The disciples were so impressed with how beautiful their temple looked, but Jesus wasn’t. He knew what we need to remind ourselves of. Everything in this life that’s new today will be old tomorrow. Whenever I look at old, crushed cars being hauled off to some re-cycling plant on the back of a truck, this is what I think of. At one time, those old wrecks were brand new cars that people drooled over. But now look at them - just a pile of rusty old junk. Once they were new, and now they’re old.

That’s the way of the world my friend, so don’t get caught up with the sin of coveting things of this world or this life. Everything is subject to decay here on earth, because this planet is cursed with the curse of sin. Until that curse is lifted by the return of the Lord Jesus, everything in this world continues to age, grow old, fall apart and one day need to be replaced. Only the things of God are unchanging, and can be renewed day by day! Second Corinthians 4:16 tells us that our outward man will perish (grow old and one day die), but our inward man can (and should) be renewed daily. Your spirit man will never grow old or die, and the rewards you receive from God for being a loyal, trustworthy servant will be yours forever. They’ll never get old and rusty, and no thief will be able to steal them away either (Matthew 6:19-21). So, keep these things in your mind daily, and never let the false allure of the world deceive you into the sins of coveting and lusting after the things of this temporary life on earth. Stay sharp. Stay focused on spiritual things!

FINAL THOUGHT
And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it. Col 4:11.

Every single believer has a ministry to fulfill. Not all believers are called to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors or teachers (Ephesians 4:11), but every Christian has received a ministry, and will be judged according to that ministry when we stand before the judgement seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10). The gifts and callings of God are without repentance (Romans 11:29). God doesn’t change His mind, and no excuses will be accepted. Second Corinthians 5:20 tells us we are all Ambassadors for Christ. If we’re told to “take heed” to this ministry as His Ambassadors, we must carefully monitor everything we think, say and do, to be sure we never stray or drift away from our responsibilities to accurately represent Jesus to the world. Not every saint is an evangelist, but every saint is commanded to evangelize.  This is life’s main purpose for every believer.

Are you taking heed to your ministry calling?
