Dear Parents,

I have shared this with your children before, but it bears repeating.

The little baby Jesus doesn't care that Christmas dinner isn't what you would have chosen.

The little baby Jesus doesn't care if grandma is telling the same story again this year.

The little baby Jesus doesn't care who gets the highest score on the new game.

The little baby Jesus doesn't care how much traffic there was on the way to your relatives.

The little baby Jesus doesn't care who took the last chocolate chip cookie.

The little baby Jesus doesn't care who got the best gift in the Yankee swap.

The little baby Jesus DOES care about PEACE...on earth and JOY...to the world and GOODWILL... toward men. And goodwill means treating each other with joy and love and respect.

Have a nice break and this Christmas try to keep in mind what the little baby Jesus cares about.

Faithfully,

Chris Kelly
