Health and Safety Update
PCA Family –

I pray that you and your family are staying safe and well, and that while this time in our country is challenging, that you would be able to see ways that God is blessing you in the midst of these days. We have responded to these challenges with innovative ways to learn, connect and worship. I am grateful for you.

My goal is to let you know what we know, when we know it – and as much as we know. We do foresee that our virtual learning will probably be extended again, but at this time I am unable to give you a specific date. In the meantime, the best place to find specific information about classes and assignments is still at  myPCA . For global school items, we will continue to update you via the website, emails and social media as needed.

I am thankful for our Leadership Team as we navigate these days together. We are making decisions with a measured response – weighing carefully the facts that we can know – being neither frantic nor foolish.  Hopefully neither over-reacting, nor in any way jeopardizing the health of our extended PCA families.

Parents, thank you for being faithful and encouraging. PCA North mom, Mrs. Elaina Esty posted on social media, “My kids’ teachers are working harder than ever if that is even possible…they were already amazing.”  Mrs. Esty didn’t overlook anyone as she continued commending Campus Ministry, librarians, band, art and choir teachers and technology instructors. PCA Plano mom, Mrs. Kelli Moore shared, “This is truly amazing how quickly teachers put their plans in action this week! I love how our teachers at all levels had our students engaged starting Monday morning.”

Even if we are not together in person – we are united in the Holy Spirit. I am reminded of  2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV) for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control . Be encouraged – we have much to be thankful for. Let’s all rely on the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and step up to the challenges that have been put before us.

Please see a special message below from Dr. Larry Taylor as he wants to encourage the PCA community as well.

Praying for you,

John P. Klingstedt
