This Sunday at Christ Church
Sunday's Preacher and Faith & Practice Speaker

Matthew Berryman, the new director of Episcopal Charities, will be our guest preacher this Sunday. At Faith & Practice, Matt will share with us news from this Diocesan ministry that touches so many lives. He became Executive Director of Episcopal Charities in the summer of 2018. Matthew is an ordained Methodist minister. Prior to joining Episcopal Charities, he was Executive Director of Reconciling Ministries Network - a national, faith-based organization working for the full inclusion of LGBT people in The United Methodist Church.  He came to that role after 3 years of law school where he worked in law firms and as a legal editor of LexisNexis.

The Winnetka Spring Cleanup, which takes place the week of Earth Day (April 22-25), may be counterproductive to the growing global sustainability movement. In lieu of kicking it all to the curb, Christ Church Winnetka is encouraging residents to Donate With Purpose to Rummage this year in honor of the world's largest environmental movement.

Rummage Donations can be dropped off at the back entrance of the Schroeder Building, located at 700 Oak Street. To help residents Donate With Purpose, Rummage is extending drop off hours the weekend of April 20. Doors are open Saturday and Sunday from 8AM to 4PM. We also offer complimentary furniture pickups. For more information regarding items we do and do not accept for donation, please visit www.christchurchwinnetka.org/serve/rummagebenevolence/donate/.
