COVID-19 UPDATE

Good health is at the top of everyone's mind today amidst the current global challenge with COVID-19.

We would like to update you on the steps we are taking in our ongoing commitment to ensure the health and safety of our patients, practitioners and staff is maintained.

We are currently open and continuing with our regularly scheduled appointments and clinic hours. However, we would ask you to reschedule your appointment if any of the following apply to you:
  1. You feel unwell with cough, fever or other respiratory symptoms
  2. You have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days
  3. You have been in contact with anyone who has been sick or quarantined with COVID-19.
During this time our office will be waving the cancellation fee if you need to reschedule your appointment for any of the above reasons.

Recommendations are changing daily and we will continue to closely monitor the situation and will be following guidelines from all levels of Government and Public Health Agencies.

We are taking the necessary steps to comply with the public health recommendations along with our own clinic protocols and steps to make sure our clinic is safe and clean at all times when you visit.

Personal Health Practices for Good Health
In addition to the public health recommendations during this unusual time, it is also a good time to remember the 7 daily personal health practices I often recommend to you on each visit. These simple and essential health maintenance steps can help support your optimal well-being.

  1. Maintain good spinal alignment and periodic soft tissue care
  2. Breathing and good air quality
  3. Hydration and good water quality
  4. Rest - both physical and mental (stress management)
  5. Movement and activity including stretching and walking
  6. Good nutrition including whole fresh food and supplements
  7. Meaningful Renewed living- finding some small thing each day that is renewing for you.  Your favorite music, book, Netflix show etc.

Together, by social distancing, adhering to public health recommendations and our own personal good health practices, we can all work together to help minimize the spread of COVID-19.

We will continue to be available for your spinal health care needs and any other support that we may offer you. We will maintain our regular clinic hours for the foreseeable future and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Yours in good health,

Dr. Gordon Hasick
