Three Rivers Awarded Shared Governance Award
The BOR, in conjunction with the Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC), established the CSCU Shared Governance Award in 2016 to annually recognize a CSCU institution for its outstanding contribution to shared governance within CSCU. Shared governance is defined as communication, collaboration, and mutual accountability between administration, faculty, staff, and students which advances excellence in the operation of CSCU institutions.
The committee agreed that Three Rivers has forged a new shared governance model that fosters an environment of open discourse, transparency and reflection.
Three Rivers was chosen from a pool of applicants by a four-member Selection Committee made up of current members of the FAC and BOR.
