*With Shabbat coming in so early, we have had a tough time starting Mincha on time with a minyan. As we have people saying kaddish, this is very important -- so to those who are able to make an effort to arrive on time it is greatly appreciated.
This Shabbat is Shabbat Mevorchim. Rosh Chodesh Kislev is Monday night / Tuesday. Shacharit will be at 8:15 AM.
Kid's Programming Returns
Bring your kids to shul Friday night. We'll have treats, games and a little parsha learning. The brief program will take place immediately following Kabalat Shabbat and continue until the end of Maariv. The program will take place outside in the Gan Playground (in the back area of the shul).
Weekly Parsha with Rotating Scholars will now also Rotate Days
Until now, our weekly parsha class met online Fridays at 10 AM. With the change of clocks, some find this time challenging, so the class time and day will change depending on the Teacher's preference -- sometimes on Thursdays, sometimes on Friday and sometimes in person in the shul on Shabbat.
For this week, Chaya Passow will be teaching on Thursday at 10 AM.
Shir Hadash's activities take place in Beit Natan, located at Yakov Rubin Street #1, overlooking the Moon Grove (Chorshat HaYa're'ach) on the border of the German Colony and Talbiya Neighborhoods. (Click here for Map)
