Governor Calls for Seniors to Stay Home and Closure of Bars
Dear Neighbor,

As the national health emergency caused by COVID-19 continues to effect us all, Governor Newsom issued a number of advisory recommendations to further reduce the spread and the harms of this rapidly moving virus.

The new guidelines include:
  • Advising all people 65 or older to self-isolate at home
  • directing all bars, brew pubs, night clubs, and wineries to shut down
  • restaurants should be at no more than 50% occupancy and ensure social distancing among their patrons.
At this time these are recommendations issued with the support of public health officials, and are not mandates. In response to this new heightened level of effort to confront the spread of COVID-19 with further social distancing measures, we expect that we will have additional information and best practices for businesses that they can use in order to prevent spread and exposure to the virus.

Please continue to protect yourself from exposure to the COVID-19 virus and from spreading the virus. We all play a role in the health of our community.
