State Testing Next Week
We have scheduled state-required testing for April 8-11. These state tests will impact freshmen, sophomores and juniors. This year in an effort to save academic time, we will not utilize late starts as we have in the past. The school start and end times will continue as normal. The testing dates are listed below. Students will be assigned a space in the cafeteria or auxiliary gym during the testing window.
If a student has missed a required test from a prior year or a retake is recommended, we will communicate with the student directly.
Technology Note:
Students will use their school-issued device to complete the end-of-course exams. It is the student's responsibility to charge the laptop overnight and arrive at school with it fully charged. If the laptop is not fully charged, the student will not be permitted to take that day's exam and will be required to stay after school to take the exam.

Alcohol Awareness Month: Save a Life
While many think teen alcohol use is a rite of passage, it's important to note d
riving isn't the only risk associated with underage drinking.
E
ach year, approximately 5,000 young people under the age of 21 die as a result of underage drinking. This includes about 1,900 deaths from motor vehicle crashes, 1,600 as a result of homicides, 300 from suicide, and hundreds from other injuries such as falls, burns, and drownings. During the month of April, we will be sharing research, information, statistics and tips for parents to start discussing alcohol with their students.
