2019 JTCC Gala - Save The Date!

JTCC celebrates its 20th anniversary with the annual GEICO Champions Celebration on May 2nd. The event is being held at  The Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, MD. The 2019 honorees are JTCC founder, Ken Brody, and Hall of Fame Sports broadcaster, Mary Carillo.  Click here for more info
Tiafoe Reaches First Masters 1000 Quarter Final in Miami

Frances Tiafoe's wins over Miomir Kecmanovic, David Ferrer and David Goffin at the Miami Open earned him a maiden appearance in the last eight of an ATP Masters 1000 tournament. This success comes just two months after his run to his first Grand Slam quarter final at the Australian Open in Melbourne. On the back of his excellent play in Florida the JTCC alumnus returns to the top 30 in the ATP world rankings.
JTCC Alumna Mia Horvit Ranked 
No. 1 in the United States

Mia Horvit, University of South Carolina, is one half of the #1 collegiate doubles team in the country. On March 19, the ITA announced that Horvit and her partner Ingrid Gamarra Martins were the top duo in the NCAA. This season the doubles team is 19-4 with seven of those wins coming against nationally ranked opponents.

JTCC Alumnus Andrew Fenty on a Hot Streak at Michigan

Andrew Fenty, a freshman at the University of Michigan, has earned a team-leading 19 wins this season. On March 30 he clinched the decisive point for the Wolverines in a 4-3 triumph over Purdue. His 11th straight match win!
JTCC Celebrates Phase 2/ PAL Graduation

As part of JTCC's Community Outreach program, 12 new players graduated from either Phase 2 or PAL (Police Athletic League) in March. The nine -week program saw the kids start their journey on the JTCC pathway with the ultimate goal of earning a college scholarship. All of these players are now moving onto the next session  of ROGY programming at JTCC.
Spring Into March Tennis Festival

The latest free Community Tennis Festival took place on March 24 at JTCC.  The festival was blessed with warm weather that meant more than 30 adults and kids could enjoy a series of fun and interactive outdoor games during the two-hour event. The next festival is scheduled for April 28. Make sure to  sign up here to join the action!
JTCC Family Grows via Rally in 10

In March JTCC introduced tennis to 45 adults who all completed a series of six beginner 'Rally in 10' classes. Everyone had lots of fun learning the sport and most of the group will now carry on playing in Rally Now classes. 

The next Rally in 10 session will run during May and it is only  $60 to join. This package includes six group lessons, fitness room access, two group exercise classes and 50% off your next class.   Email Jordan Zimmerman to register today!
High Performance Summer Training Registration Now Open

Sign up for the  High Performance Summer Training sessions! Training starts June 10 -August 30. 

Champs 1 (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 3 pm)
Advanced tournament players competing in ITF, National and Sectional L3 events.

Champs 2/ Future Champs (Monday - Friday, 11 am - 6 pm)
High school, state or sectional players  competing in L4 - L6 Sectional events.

Junior Champs (Monday - Friday, 9 am - 4pm)
Tournament level players between the ages of 8 - 12 focusing on  technique and development.                  
ROGY Summer Camp 
Registration  Open

Join JTCC's summer camp for beginner and intermediate players. O pen to youth ages 5-18.

Weekly sessions starting from June 10 are available for players of all abilities! There is something for everyone with half and full day camps plus options including non-tennis activities.


Recycle Old/Used Tennis Balls

Have a tennis ball that has already lost its bounce? Around the JTCC campus there are now several green bins where you can recycle old and used tennis balls. This is a partnership JTCC has formed with Wilson and RecycleBalls to help collect, recycle, and re-purpose tennis balls.
