Spring Commencement Ceremony
Dear Bengal Graduate,

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to quickly evolve, it is with a heavy heart that Idaho State University has made the difficult decision to not hold in-person commencement and graduation-related activities as previously planned. This decision was made after much deliberation and consultation with public health professionals.

Please understand that in no way does this diminish your achievements. Your graduation is the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and tenacity. For you personally, this is designed to be your moment. For Idaho State, it represents the very core of our mission, why we all are here. So your achievements will be celebrated even if, at this time, we will not gather together in Holt Arena on Saturday, May 9.

The University is working right now to implement alternate ways of celebrating you, our accomplished graduates. We will provide you with updates in the very near future.

If you are eligible to graduate, your diploma will be mailed to you as planned, along with a printed program containing a list of graduate names. Students who have purchased regalia can bring their purchase back to the University Bookstore for a full refund. Please bring the receipt. If the receipt is lost, please bring the credit card used for the purchase, as this will make the refund process easier. Additionally, the University’s $20 graduation fee will be refunded.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unusual time. If you have specific questions, please contact us at commencement@isu.edu .
