March is Problem Gambling Awareness MonthProblem Gambling Awareness Month is designed to help raise awareness of the prevention, treatment and recovery services available for those adversely affected by gambling. UNC Greensboros Division of Student Affairs is building awareness by taking action and offering a gambling disorder screening day. Get a FREE T-shirt for your participation!
The Dean of Students Office will be setting up a table in the EUC Commons to educate students on ways they can recognize distress in themselves and others. We will be handing out free food and giveaways to students who stop by our table!

Alison Grillo is a transgender comedian and speaker who simply lives to bring her unique story and off-beat sense of humor to institutions of higher learning. Alison appeared as the first transgender comedian on Last Comic Standing and tours the college comedy circuit frequently as an educator on LGBTQ+ topics. Join us for the second annual Piney Lake Spring Opening! We will have free Bojangles for the first 200 guests and activities for everyone to enjoy: Personalized water bottles, DIY flower pots, paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, guided hiking, and more! Join us for the cornhole tournament at 12:00pm or yoga at 1:00pm. This event is open to ALL members of the UNCG community with a UNCG ID, including staff and faculty (limit 4 guests per UNCG ID). We will also have music by DJ Roxci.Free shuttles running every 30 minutes from the EUC Circle starting at 10:30am, last one leaving Piney Lake at 4:00pm. The 37th Annual International Festival (I-Fest) will take place on Saturday, April 6 on the EUC Lawn. I-Fest is open to the community from 12-5pm on Saturday, April 6th. However, they need volunteers on Friday, April 5 from 3-5pm and Saturday, April 6 from 8am-7pm to help with set-up and break-down before and after the event. Volunteers who sign up to participate all day on Saturday will receive a FREE I-Fest t-Shirt!
