Hi . Happy summer!! We hope you’re enjoying the warm weather and seeing faces when you are out! We almost forgot how nice it was to see someone’s entire face when having a conversation.
So, the IRS has been hard at work processing returns, albeit a little more slowly, and making some important corrections. If your return is one that has been corrected, especially due to the changes in the taxation of unemployment income, please make sure to send us a copy of the letter indicating the correction. There are 2 reasons we are asking for this, (1) to make sure you aren’t due any additional refund, and (2) to make sure we have an accurate record of your return on file.
In case you missed it, the IRS has released information on the Advance Child Tax Credit and how to opt out. If you have children 17 and under, and an AGI of $150,000 or less in 2020,

Don’t forget our tax department is working hard on tax projections! If you are in need of a projection, please contact
Chris or
Denise to find out what information is needed.
We wish each of you a summer full of fun and memories!
