A note from Chapter President, Sandy Lipe, West Coast Roofing

Greetings Tucson NAWIC #122 and Friends!

Wishing Health & Safety to all our members, families, and friends during this pandemic!

With pandemic restrictions still in place, we are still in a holding pattern for membership meetings. But that is not stopping NAWIC Chapter 122. Your board is still meeting by Zoom and planning our chapter's future.

And speaking of future, we have Final Declared Election results for the 2020-2021 year. I am very excited to introduce you to your next Board of Directors:

My congratulations to these ladies! I know that Chapter #122 is in good hands moving forward.

And move forward we will!

I have extended a special invitation to all new board members to begin attending board meetings as we move towards them taking the reigns. I look forward to working with each and every one of you in the upcoming year.

In addition, I want to remind everyone that all members are always invited to all board meetings. We will continue to hold Zoom meetings until COVID-19 restrictions allow otherwise. If anyone would like to attend, please let me know and am happy to extend an invitation.

** We have extended the date to 06.19.20 to advise the board if you are interested in attending Annual Conference in Houston August 12-15.**

Be the solution to the possible COVID-19 outbreak in your work place

If you have an employee that is sick send them home for two weeks, not to return until they have 2 negative PCR/ANTIGEN tests
Every other employee that was within 6 feet of that employee for more that 15 minutes should be sent home and tested 48 hours from exposure as well.

Welcome To Our Newest NAWIC Sister

Please welcome Glenda Barajas to our membership. Glenda is a student at Pima Community College and will be obtaining an A.A in Welding in the Fall of 2020. She has obtained a basic welding certificate and a welding fabrication certificate. She plans to further her education at NAU and is looking forward to being an active member of NAWIC.
