January was a great month in Children's Ministry, as we completed our 3
rd Grade bible sessions and presentation. Youth also attended the bible sessions this time, for a combined class, titled "Bible 101". Pastor Paul led us in our sessions, and did a wonderful job of leading and teaching the children, youth, and p
arents about the bible-Thank you pastor!
ages are welcome, the more the merrier.

We are looking forward to the next Meal with a Mission/Family Day in February, with a Valentine's theme of "Jesus loves you, and so do we". This will be a short get together, following Meal with a Mission, where we all can gather as a church family, and have some fun!
We will be implementing Sunday School attendance charts, so children may have an interactive and visual way to see their Sunday School attendance-and be rewarded for attendance! We believe this will be a nice way to create more excitement for children to attend Sunday School, and encourage the whole family to come to church. We also will begin celebrating birthdays in Sunday School, on a monthly basis.

In this month of love, be sure to share the love of Jesus each day, and love God with all your heart!

Youth Ministry
by Tammy Freeburg, Youth Ministry Coordinator

Hello Immanuel families I pray that all is well with you.

Last week was crazy busy with very good stuff!  Family Activities night went very well, definitely doing it again in the future!  Our visit to 104.3 The Pulse radio station was great! The mention of our youth CREW was heard on air  Wednesday around 3  or so.  Residents at the Care Center were delightful and welcomed us so lovingly to their home and their church service.  For sure to visit there again!

After the 2nd service meal, we will have a celebration of, "Jesus loves you and so do we!"

It has already started with "who's in the news?"  Located in the hallway on the east side, leading to the sanctuary. Take a minute to see who IS in the news (since I started in September).

Our trip to Wisconsin and the 3 Bears Lodge is coming up fast!  Rooms are reserved, registration sent, time to get prayerful for a inspirational time and all seeing the Lord move among us.
Then we are into the season of Lent. Please take time to share thi s season with all of our church family.

We are blessed here at Immanuel and we want all of you to know that you are appreciated, whatever your role might be
Take care, God bless
