Returning

our first concert back home in 20 months
on the 20th anniversary of 9/11
There is so much great music that has been waiting for us to sing,
There are so many people we have been longing to see.
There is so much to say and sing about our lives and experiences, our loves and losses, our future and past.

No, we are not post-pandemic yet.
But, through science and caution, we are able to gather –
to come home and ponder our lives through the compositional voices of our time.
This is...

Returning
Saturday, September 11, 2021 @ 7pm
The Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill
music of Ēriks Ešenvalds, Ayanna Woods, James Primosch, Michael Gilbertson, Michael Gordon
pre-concert talk with Donald in the Burleigh-Cruikshank Memorial Chapel @ 6pm
The basic, and important, info:
• proof of vaccination required at the door – bring your card or a photo of your card to be checked by front of house staff prior to entry
• masks must be worn by the audience at all times while indoors at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill
• the choir will be unmasked while singing
• our “coming home” reception will be outdoors, on the front lawn of the church

by doing just that.
We return to singing with listeners.
We emerge from the veil cast over ensemble music-making by the pandemic.
We remember those we lost in our national tragedies – of 20 years ago, and of today.

Join us.
Bring a mask.
And a friend.

Come. Return. Now.
