Grab & Go Meals Are Back for the Summer
As of Monday, June 28, free “grab and go” breakfast and lunch in this year’s “Summer Meals” program will be available to all New Yorkers at about 400 sites this summer, on weekdays from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Click here for more information about grab and go meals and site locations.
Child Care Help Available from NYS
The state will provide $25 million in child care scholarships for essential workers. As of Wednesday, June 23, these scholarships are the first in a series of new investments to support working families and the child care industry through the federal CARES Act. Apply here. Also, from now until Sunday, July 4, parents and caregivers can sign up for free child care if they need additional support while getting the COVID-19 vaccine or recovering from the vaccine.
