30-Day Wellness Challenge

Game Time Tuesday

The Drug-Free Task Force, in partnership with the Safe Communities Coalition and the HOPE Club at Raritan Valley Community College, continue to host Game Time Tuesday. In an effort to reach a wider audience, games will be held at 1:00pm and 5:00pm every week. Participants can win Amazon gift cards. Positive YOUth Podcast

Positive YOUth now has a podcast! YOUth Positively Speaking is a prevention podcast featuring candid conversations with youth about alcohol and substance misuse. To listen to the podcast on You Tube, click here. It can also be heard on Spotify, BuzzSprout, iHeartRadio and Google Podcasts.

Positive YOUth Help App

Positive YOUth along with Prevention Resources has created the "Help App". The app gives families and young people in Hunterdon County access to resources on mental health, drugs/alcohol and many more. To download the app take a picture of the QR code above. Increase in overdose deaths since COVID-19.

The DEA Seizes 2,224 pounds of methamphetamine.

On October 2nd, the DEA in Southern California seized 2,224 pounds of methamphetamine. The DEA reports that this is the largest domestic seizure of methamphetamine in their history. For more information please click here.
Purdue Pharma pleads guilty to three criminal charges.

Purdue Pharma, the makers of OxyContin will plead guilty to federal charges as part of an 8 billion dollar settlement. For details on the settlement please click here.
