Online Learning to Sustain Your Team
As we experience the impact that COVID-19 is having on our work, in our homes, and in our communities, we will all experience a wide range of emotional and logistical challenges. The unknown duration of this change can make the situation seem even less manageable. From a change management perspective, we should be putting priority on actions that:
  • Help us to maintain communication between people
  • Keep us aligned on current, and emerging priorities
  • Continue developing our people so they are engaged
  • Stay ready for the next set of challenges
The good news is that almost everything we need is already available to us in the form of online learning tools. Online learning tools include a huge variety of systems and technologies that most of us are already familiar with, such as:
  • File sharing tools like Google Docs
  • Instant Messaging like Hangout Conversations
  • Scheduling tools like online calendars
  • Meeting tools like Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Webex
  • Communication tools like phone, text, and email
The challenge for many of us is that we have not used these tools at the same time, in a remote work setting, in which communication flow has changed, and support feels less available.

COE is here to support you and your teams. By developing the skills needed to leverage online learning tools we can help keep your people in communication with each other and focused on organizational priorities.

The table below aligns common change management needs with resources that are available through COE, which can be delivered in an online format.

I need help with...
Try this...
Building relationships in my team so that we can work together more effectively.
Birkman Method Assessment and team session provides each person with a detailed understanding of their own behavior, and guided activities to help the team understand the preferences and behaviors of the people on their team. This assessment provides value by itself and can be combined with almost any other topic to provide additional insight into how to work with people who have different perspectives than you do.
Learning how to be a team in an online environment.
This new class from COE, Sustaining Online Teams , is designed to help teams identify and develop mindset, best practices, and determine which online tools are best to complete assigned work.
Redesigning our workflow and team structures because a lot has changed in the way we do our work
