  • What can I do during the Stay at Home Order?
  • Governor Polis has extended the statewide Stay At Home Order until April 26. You are still allowed to engage in necessary activities, such as going to the grocery store and going to work if you are an essential employee. View more information.
  • What should I do if I think I have been exposed to COVID-19?
  • First, self-isolate. Stay home and call your provider if your symptoms become unmanageable.
  • Depending on your symptoms, you may or may not need medical attention. If you do need medical attention, consider a nurseline or telehealth.
  • Find more information from the Colorado Department of Public Health.
  • You can visit the CDC’s symptom checker to help make a decision on seeking appropriate medical care.
Upcoming Events:

Special Meeting of the Broomfield City Council: April 7 at 5 p.m. This meeting will be streaming audio only, no video, on Broomfield.org/CityCouncil and Channel 8 on your television. Public participation via telephone will open at approximately 6 p.m. by calling 855.695.3744. Written comments are requested to be sent in advance, to council@broomfieldcitycouncil.org .

Telephone Town Hall: Join the next Telephone Town Hall each Thursday at 7 p.m. Residents can call 855.695.3744 the night of, or sign up to be called directly . RSVP and share the Facebook event for updates as well. Town Hall audio is now streamed live on Channel 8 as well. Thank you to the over 2,100 participants that joined the Telephone Town Hall last Thursday. If you were not able to make it, listen to the available recording .

  • inventHQ Face Mask Collection / Distribution
  • inventHQ is collecting donations of completed DIY cloth face masks to be distributed via FISH. Donations of completed masks can be dropped off at the library book drop anytime, with masks individually bagged in plastic and large donations of masks bagged in a second plastic ziploc bag. Questions about donated masks can be sent to inventHQ@broomfield.org.

  • Apply now for the Bridge-The-Gap program which provides housing payment assistance to Broomfield residents that have lost wages due to the impact of COVID-19. See eligibility criteria, learn more and apply online at Broomfield.org/BridgeTheGap
  • 2-1-1 Is now set up to offer COVID-19 specific services and resources available across the state. Visit 211colorado.org/covid-19, dial 2-1-1 or 866.720.6489, text 898.211* or chat live with a representative through the website.
  • Visit the Resources page on BroomfieldHealth.org for a constantly updated list of resources, support and information.
  • Read Colorado Tenant’s Guide to COVID-19.
  • Use NextDoor’s Neighborhood Help Map to find neighbors in your area that are able to help in a variety of ways, such as phone check-ins, pet care and more. Follow all safety guidelines and requirements while helping or providing help to neighbors. 
  • For Businesses: 
  • Visit Broomfield.org/COVIDEconomicSupport for information and links to help businesses and employees sustain through this downturn and support the rebuilding of our local economy. 
  • For Employers: Updated information about the U.S. SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program and the Emergency Injury Disaster Loans. Both loan programs were approved two weeks ago, and your business lending partners are now taking applications.
  • For Employees: A direct link to file for the expanded Unemployment Insurance programs and benefits and information on other programs, such as Bridging the Gap.
  • For Residents to Support Businesses: Information about local businesses serving our community, with adjusted service and hours. 
  • Learn more about the modified Enhance Broomfield program. Businesses can apply for this one-time grant of up to $7,500 which can be used for operating expenses including rent, wages, marketing, utilities, and supplies. So far, we have over 55 applications - and the application is a good step forward in filling out an application for a U.S. SBA loan if a business decided to do so.
  • Support Resources for Colorado Businesses During COVID-19 is a resource site hosted by the Colorado Office of Economic Development.
How you can help
  • Donate Blood: There is an urgent need for blood donations. Visit Vitalant.org or call 303.363.2300 for scheduling or questions.
  • Donate Money:
  • Donate to the Disaster Relief fund through the Broomfield Community Foundation.
  • There is an immediate need for ”stay-at-home” alternatives for unhoused neighbors living in Broomfield. The Towneplace Suites has offered a special rate but additional funding is needed. Donate to the Emergency Sheltering fund through the Broomfield Community Foundation so folks have a place to stay until the end of April. 
KingSoopers and FISH Cereal Challenge
  • Donate Food: FISH is asking the community to help fill a critical need for cereal. They have placed donation boxes at area King Soopers and are grateful for any help as they face an unprecedented need. 
  • Donate Items: A Precious Child is accepting cleaning supplies and hygiene items listed on their Amazon wishlists.
  • Volunteer: The Broomfield VOAD is encouraging healthy volunteers to assist FISH at their facility. Sign-up to volunteer at FISH.
  • Are you a medical professional? Sign up to volunteer.
  • Governor Jared Polis created the Colorado Covid-19 Innovation Response Team to introduce telehealth/telemedicine service supporting approximately 800,000 uninsured and under-served Coloradans. Help the team provide health services while reducing strain on healthcare facilities, leaving hospital beds open to the most severely ill.
  • Use NextDoor’s Neighborhood Help Map to list things you are able and willing to do for neighbors in your area, such as phone check-ins, pet care and more. Follow all safety guidelines and requirements while getting help from or providing help to neighbors.
