Congratulations, Class of 2021!
Members of Livingston High School’s Class of 2021 participated in a graduation celebration on Thursday, June 24, 2021. The festivities included a special performance (see link below) by Principal Rosensweig and former Principal Stern, speeches, and the presentation of graduates.

In her remarks, valedictorian Rosa Xia said, "For many of us, the past year has emphasized the importance of a more humane, understanding world, welcoming of differences and willing to improve. We can make this a reality. You don’t need to be flashy or world-changing to make your place in this world. Just be a good person: kind, helpful, compassionate, respectful. That’s enough.
Sure, life won’t be easy. We’ll all make mistakes —it’s a given—but that’s
okay. We’re all going to do just fine."

Congratulations to all of our seniors!

Junior Book Awards
Fifteen students in Charissa Sorrentino's and Michael Sunga's AP English Language and Composition classes at LHS were honored at this year's Junior Book Awards virtual ceremony.

In conjunction with the School Counseling Department, LHS partnered with fourteen colleges and universities from across the country. Local and regional alumni associations and clubs have generously donated junior book awards, with personalized name plates, to recognize students for their exceptional performance in English, love of the written word, overall academic excellence, extracurricular or athletic involvement, community service, and character/work ethic. Some schools also offer scholarship and pre-college program opportunities. Each book is written by a notable alumnus/a or embodies a topic that reflects the institution's mission and values. Congratulations to all!
