This Sunday is Easter! You probably knew that... and I will concede that the thought of not being together on Easter is awful. However, I think that this might be the greatest and most important Easter in several generations. On Sunday in my latest installment of "me talking to an empty room and recording it", I will share with you some reasons I think this Easter is so important. But for now look at it this way... How often do we actually consider all of "Holy Week"? I know I don't always spend time thinking about and considering all of the events leading up to Sunday. I always look forward to Sunday, but during the week it's "business as usual". Right now, whether we like it or not, there is no such thing as "business as usual". So let's make the most of it. Below I have listed a couple of things for you to consider as well as some links for you to read more about each day so you can understand the significance. Spend time reflecting personally. And spend time together with your family. God bless!
Maundy Thursday
The day before Jesus was crucified. The day on which Jesus observed the Passover with His disciples. For us, this becomes the day that Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper and also washed the disciples feet.
Good Friday
The day which Jesus was crucified. We will offer communion from 3-7pm. Please click here for more details.
Holy Saturday
The day between Jesus death and resurrection.
Resurrection Sunday
Jesus is risen! Join us on Facebook or the church website for a special message and celebration!
