4-H Cloverleaf Newsletter
April 2020

A Message To Our 4-H Volunteers & Parents
From Your 4-H Agent
As the COVID-19 situation continues we know that many of you are struggling to find ways to keep your clubs going and your members connected.  Your members still need to continue working on their Presentations for the upcoming County Day and District Day Presentation Competitions.  Electric Congress is still set for July 7-9, 2020, for youth age 11 (by January 1st) to 18. I have some tools for you to use in our new age of "virtual learning."

I will have updates in the newsletter each month, or as often as needed, to assist you in conducting online club meetings, trainings, workshops, online book club, and even competitions!

Also, please visit the South Central District 4-H Volunteer leader's Facebook page for updates. Just posted is the South Central District Scholarship Application for active
4-H Seniors entering college next year.  Please share this information with any of your graduating members.  The deadline is May 31st.

Your 4-H Agent is here to help you navigate this new technology, please contact me, Abigail Isom, by phone at: 704-736-8458 or by e-mail at: [email protected].
Thank you volunteers and parents for helping us "Make The Best Better!"

Congratulations
Lincoln County 4-H Horse Judging Team!
M embers of the Lincoln County 4-H Horse Judging Team have not stopped learning and training for upcoming shows, they are just learning to participate in a new way.  The team, coached by Kellie Atkinson, will take part in the NC State 4-H Virtual Horse Judging Contest via an online "arena" in April.

First-time participants will keep their "first time status" moving forward into next year.

Wish the team luck as they continue to meet the new challenges before them!  All the Best Team!
