Update from our Executive Director
Negotiations are ongoing between ASA, ABC, AGC and other interested parties to resolve payment issues for work in the commercial construction industry. Efforts are in process to revise Tennessee State Law to ensure fair payment practices for businesses in the commercial construction industry. If getting paid for the work you do is important for your business, join the growing voice of subcontractors all across Tennessee to ensure fair business practices and protection of payment rights.
To learn more about ASA and how to be a part of our work on behalf of commercial subcontractors, visit our website.
In addition to advocacy efforts in the State Legislature to protect the rights of Subcontractors, ASA assists our members by promoting networking opportunities that can benefit you in your daily business operations. If your company is a member of ASA and would like to promote an upcoming business, educational or social event, please contact me and I will be happy to help communicate your message to subcontractors across Tennessee.
One of our newest members of the American Subcontractors Association, Lockton Companies, is hosting a free event for subcontractors. Please see all details below.
