WE MAKE YOUR FREE TIME, FUN TIME!
GREETINGS,

We are pleased to announce that the full schedule of our Summer Concert Series will be back to normal in 2021, beginning tonight (weather permitting)!. The Greenwich Department of Health has important information to share regarding extreme heat. Although most COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted by the State, the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) has issued recommendations for Connecticut residents. DPH has just issued updated guidance for the 2021 Summer sports season. Greenwich Recreation will follow DPH recommendations for our activities.

The Parks and Recreation Office at Town Hall is open to the public weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office at Town Hall and our Civic Centers are closed Monday, July 5 in celebration of Independence Day. We encourage you to make an appointment between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Most business can be done online. Office staff are available by email; feel free to contact us. Both the Eastern and Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Centers are open for programs. They are available to rent for meetings and to rent for recreation activities. Private parties are limited. BWGCC has resumed open gym time according to specific rules. The Dorothy Hamill Skating Rink is available for turf rental.

Best regards,
