As your community leader, I know there are many questions out there arising from the COVID-19 epidemic and a lot of conflicting answers.

To best help you get it right, we have started a new initiative in the City of Sunrise.

Beginning today Monday, April 6 th , the Call Center opened at 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This Call Center can be reached at (954) 746-3670 this call center will provide answers and resources to our Sunrise family, quickly and easily. Our team of compassionate and caring operators stand ready to assist residents and business owners with contacts and information resources regarding:

  • Food resources
  • COVID-19 Testing Sites
  • Senior Services
  • Transportation Services
  • Stores Offering Pharmacy Delivery
  • Sunrise Grocery Store Hours
  • Restaurants Providing Take-out and Delivery Services
  • City of Sunrise Facility and Service Updates
  • Virtual Recreation Activity Suggestions
  • U.S. & State Government Assistance for Businesses
  • U.S. & State Government Assistance for Workers
  • And Much More….

As you know, we also partner with 2-1-1 Broward, a 24-hour/7-day a week call center that provides a wide variety of information and resources. Residents can call 2-1-1 or (954) 537-0211 – or visit 211-broward.org – any time for assistance regarding:

  • Mental health and behavioral health
  • Substance abuse
  • Crisis/suicide intervention
  • Special needs
  • Healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured
