Psalm 122
A song for pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem. A psalm of David.
1 I was glad when they said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
2 And now here we are, (that was quick)
standing inside your gates, O Jerusalem.
Q. How are you going to feel about your first worship service back at TLC?

David had a reputation for loving God, for longing for His Presence, for worshipping Him passionately, and for holding His House as sacred. He said, “I was glad when they said unto ME, let US go to the house of the Lord.”

It will be a wonderful thing when we can all gather again to worship Jesus Christ at The Life Church. It will be good for me, and it will be good for you, but it will even be better for US!
Q. What do you miss most about going to The Life Church?

In Exodus 33, Moses turned his tent (his abode) into a house of prayer and worship. God had told him that He was not going to go with Israel into the Promise Land because of their rebellion at Mt. Sinai. Moses took this as a personal challenge, so he took his tent far outside the camp and got on his face to seek God. He turned his tent into a prayer tent.

Because of Moses’ intercession, God changed his mind, and His glory came down in the form of a cloud upon Moses tent. Moses tent became the first Tabernacle.
Q. How can we turn our tent (our home) into a Tabernacle?

At this time we cannot gather and worship the Lord as we desire. This is a time to turn our homes into houses of worship, prayer and the Word. Although our homes are common to us, when it is time for worship on Sundays, Wednesdays, or whenever we can join the live stream (or recorded), let us not allow what is SACRED to become common.
Q. What encouraged you about today’s service?
Q. What can we do to make worship at our home sacred?
Prayer:
  1. Pray over your house, family, neighbors, community.
  2. Pray against the COVID-19! It has come to leave!
  3. Pray for our civic leaders (Federal, State, local)
  4. Pray for peace, harmony, love and joy in your home.
