Horse of the Month
Jesse James (JJ)
JJ is a 30-year-old small pony who has been working with us for many years. His small size is great for our youngest riders! JJ has a choppy but rhythmic walk that is great for helping his riders strengthen their core and upper leg muscles.
JJ is often seen in sessions wearing his "sunglasses", a mesh mask over his face that help keep the sun out of his eyes while still letting him see where he needs to go. We love our little old
man JJ!!

Therapist of the Month
Michele Mimikos
Michele is an occupational therapist who has been working with us since November 2017. Michele got her Bachelor of Science in Biology & Psychology at Ramapo College, and them continued to receive her Masters of Occupational Therapy at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
In addition to working with us, Michele works with the Middletown School District with a variety of age groups from kindergarten through high school in their schools. She also works with Early Intervention for Union County. In her free time, Michele enjoys hiking in the mountains, relaxing at the beach, or walking her dog with her husband. We are very excited to have Michele on our team!!

Thank you to our sponsor
The mission of the Focus for Health Foundation (FFH) is to promote advocacy, education, and research to combat the rise of chronic illness around the world. We support efforts that increase public awareness of the connection between hazardous environmental exposures and the immune system, and address how social determinants of health and inequality within populations create vulnerability to disease. |
Thank you to our grant giver:
