Hillsdale has partnered with One Love to bring a combined curriculum of the film and group discussion co-lead by 11th grade advisors and school/wellness counseling teams, to support students with:
  • understanding the warning signs of relationship abuse
  • the ability to be prepared to speak about relationship abuse with friends
  • understanding the differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships
  • being able to recognize the behaviors associated with emotional abuse

The Hillsdale team took a true collective approach to addressing the importance of healthy relationships by partnering with the HHS PTO. Screening the Escalation film for families led to a rich and vulnerable discussion around this topic and how to navigate conversations with their students at home.
