On December 19, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a bipartisan resolution designating January 2020 as "National One Health Awareness Month: in the United States to promote scientific collaboration between public, animal and environmental health. This represents a key step in our collective and renewed commitment to the One Health approach, which brings together multiple disciplines working locally, nationally and globally to address the spread of disease, promote health and emphasize the connection among humans, animals and the environment. |
