Covid-19 Update March 25, 2020
Digital Storytelling
Thank you to our Marketing Support Manager for GreenEarth Australasia, Tara Clark for producing and sending us this excellent video that tells the story of GreenEarth's fight on bacteria and viruses using high temperatures to neutralize, or inactivate, during the dry cycle.

We're excited to put it to good use!
If you'd like to upload the video to your website or share via facebook or Instagram, please reach out to Aaron Newport at anewport@greenearthcleaning.com and he will send you the desired format.
Spread The Word
In one of our email communications last week, we discussed ideas of how to make up for lost sales. In response to that email, we received questions on how to get those messages to your customer.

The easiest way to get word out to you customers and community is through social media, Facebook being the platform with the broadest reach. If you do not have a Facebook business page or have not been active, there are still options for you.

This is a great time to create a business page and start engaging with your community.
Of course, creating a page and sending out a post, initially isn't going to get you very far without a following. There are paid advertising options to give your content a boost in reaching your desired audience. Facebook is also launching small business grants for paid advertising. Watch this space.

Another way of reaching your community on Facebook, even if you don't have a Business page and are not able to put together a paid campaign, is through Facebook groups. Almost every neighborhood has a "neighborhood Facebook group" Locate the group and share your updated hours, social-distancing initiatives, etc.

There are other neighborhood apps that will allow you to communicate with your customers like Nextdoor or Neighbors by Ring . Make sure you've claimed your Google My Business and Yelp pages where you can update your hours and post pics of your drive thru, dropbox, etc.

And of course, if you have your customers email addresses and/or phone numbers, you can send an e-blast, sms message, or a good old fashioned phone call.

If you have any questions or would like assistance with any of the above mentioned initiatives, your GreenEarth team is here to help. Please contact affiliatesupport@greenearthcleaning.com
Clothes Drive Postponed
Thank you to those of you who opted-in to participate in our 2020 Earth Day Clothes Drive. This year we're celebrating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day!

Many of you have reached out and given your perspective that, due to current circumstances, it feels like our only option is to postpone the clothes drive. We agree with your perspective and have made the decision to do just that.
In the coming weeks, we will choose a month later in the year to celebrate Earth Day's 50th anniversary by doing our part to reduce landfill waste.

For those who have not yet opted-in, you now have some more time to plan and coordinate.

We look forward to to a time we can get back to focusing our attention on minimizing our carbon footprint and making a positive impact in the textile industry and our planet.
Would you like some help with your this or future marketing initiatives?
Don't hesitate to reach out. We're here for you!
