Stewardship during the Pandemic
Dear SJW Parishioners,

I am grateful for your generous prayers and support during this challenging time. While I miss seeing you at Mass, I am encouraged to hear how families are praying together, watching the Mass online, and serving the community. While this time brings stress and anxiety, let us place our burdens and struggles before the Lord knowing he will guide and comfort us.

Your generous stewardship brings life to our parish, even when we are not together. The parish may have less visitors, but our Vibrant & Active mission and ministry continue. In order to provide for the ongoing vitality of the parish, we are counting on your continued good stewardship. During this time, we hope you will continue to support the parish through prayer, service, and through your generous giving. Many of our parishioners give during the offertory at Mass via envelope. Because that is not an option at this time, we created an online offertory tool.

In partnership with the Diocese of Springfield, we have launched a new online giving platform which enables parishioners to donate to the parish via the Parish donation page. This page:

  • Enables you to make your Sunday offertory contribution online using your credit card
  • Ensures your information remains private and secure
  • Provides you flexibility to designate a one-time gift or recurring gift
  • Provides you comfort knowing your donation will be supporting the ongoing mission and vitality of our parish community

Of course, there is still the option to mail your offering directly to the church or set up semi/monthly electronic giving. Explanations about all three methods can be found on our website: HERE

Please continue to provide your generous stewardship of the past through this current challenge of the now and the near future.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. We are here for you, will continue to pray for you, and are gracious for your support!

Blessings,
Fr. John Nolan
