WHAT'S NEW IN PICTURE BOOKS?

Most children are scared of the dark at some time or other. The hero of this story actually gets to do something about it. He's a Prince--and when he becomes King he decides to ban the dark completely. At first, everyone celebrates. But before long, no one can sleep and the exhausted citizens are ready to revolt. Can the people help the King face his fears and see that you can't appreciate the light without having the dark, too?

Chelsea Clinton introduces young readers to a selection of endangered animals, sharing what makes them special, and also what threatens them. Taking readers through the course of a day, this elaborately illustrated book talks about rhinos, tigers, whales, pandas and more, and provides helpful tips on what we all can do to help prevent these animals from disappearing from our world entirely.

WHAT'S NEW FOR TEENS?

"Set in the Shadowhunter world, The Red Scrolls of Magic follows Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood after the events of City of Glass as they tour around Europe fresh in their relationship! Not only was it action packed and exciting like all of the Shadowhunter books, but it was also hilarious and beautifully romantic. Their relationship was so adorable I never wanted to put it down! This was a fantastic look back into the Shadowhunter Chronicles. A must read for all the Malec stans!" - Rachel (TAB Member)
